Dave Smith Instruments OB-6 | Polyphonic Analog Synthesizer

Legendary instrument designer and Grammy-winner Dave Smith has collaborated with renowned audio engineer Tom Oberheim to develop the OB-6, a new 6-voice synthesizer with an all-analog signal path and discrete VCOs and filters. Boasting a sound engine inspired by Oberheim’s original SEM (the core of his acclaimed 4-voice and 8-voice synthesizers), the new synthesizer features voltage-controlled oscillators, 2-pole filter, amplifiers, modern effects, a polyphonic step sequencer, an arpeggiator, and more. Denon MCX8000 | Standalone DJ Player and DJ Controller

Denon launched a major addition to their fleet with the all new standalone MCX8000. This standalone DJ player and DJ controller features two hi-definition display screens, a 4-channel digital mixer that comes with three built-in instant effects for Engine software and line inputs, a solid metal construction designed with velocity-sensitive performance pads for cues, rolls, slices, and samples. Arturia MatrixBrute | Analog Super-Synth

Arturia brought out the big guns with their new flagship analog monophonic, the MatrixBrute. Yamaha reviled their new flagship synthesizer that gives users a new intuitive way to interact with and control sound. Equipped with a Motion Control Synthesizer Engine that controls two iconic Sound Engines: Advanced Wave Memory 2 (AWM2) and FM-X, which is a sophisticated pure FM (Frequency Modulation) synthesizer engine. PO-28 robot: This 8-bit synthesizer and sequencer is great for making live and sequenced melodies and leads. It features 15 sounds, micro-drum, live play and sequencer combo, 128 pattern chaining, a step multiplier, and more.

 

Teenage Engineering OP-Z | Multitimbral Synthesizer

In addition to releasing three new Pocket Operators, Teenage Engineering has also revealed their forthcoming OP-Z 16-track multitimbral synthesizer labeled as ‘the little monster.’ The new instrument features fully sequenceable parameter locks, is capable of video synthesis, wireless capabilities with Bluetooth MIDI, and introduces a new technology they are calling step components.
